My favourite band at the moment are The Black Keys. One word to sum them up?... Well I haven't got one word because one word just doesn't do this band justice. I had 2 of their old tracks a few years ago ('Everlasting Light and Tighten Up') but since then they have just exploded into the mainstream; especially in the past few months. A lot of their new found popularity may have been because of their song 'Howling for You' which is featured in the the film 'Limitless'. However this popularity came about, it is a good thing. This is one band I have listened to then restarted the album just for a 2nd serving!
They have a very unique style and sound; reminds me of music that would be played in the south of USA, country style; but not Willie Nelson country style :D!
They have two albums out at the moment, 'Brothers' and 'El Camino'. They should both be downloaded because I honestly cannot find a song I don't like, and that's rare in an album these days.
Tracks to look out for- 'Ten Cent Pistol', 'Lonely Boy', 'Gold on the Ceiling' aaaaaand the rest of the 2 albums!
